A solo on the euphonium was well rendered by Mr Berriman and a violin solo by Mr P Polglase.
An instrumental trio was given with much precision by Mr Crookall (violin cello), and another trio, "Salut D'Armour" was successfully executed by Miss Vingo and Messrs Crookall and Polglase.
A banjo duet was contributed by Messrs Bennet and Symons and the same gentleman with Miss Andrewartha joined in a banjo selection "Park Crescent March", Mrs Maughan accompanying on the piano.
Mr T Harris sang "For all Eternity" and with Mr J H Trudgeon gave the duet "Maying".
Miss Margaret Foster was, owing to indisposition, unable to take part in the concert as announced.
The choir which is well balanced, was composed as follows:
